Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDORIN MARGURETH ROBERTON (nee PIPPUS) Dorin passed away peacefully at Concordia Hospital on June 6, 2007, after a lengthy illness. She was born December 20, 1928, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and lived, worked and raised her family in Winnipeg. Prior to her marriage to Mack in 1951, she worked as a radiology technician at the Misericordia Hospital. She put aside her career to raise the boys, Robert, Mark and James. She was a charter member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and her faith was always an important part of her life. She enjoyed summers at Twin Beaches on Lake Manitoba, reading and caring for her family. Dorin was a friend of Bill W. and would have celebrated 32 years of peace and serenity this year. She was predeceased by her mother Augusta (Minnie) Pippus (nee Klinck); her father Jacob Pippus; her brother Robert; her husband Mack; and a son Richard. She is survived by her three sons, Robert (Valerie), Mark (Linda), James; six grandchildren, Larissa and Jonathan Roberton of Calgary; Christine Roberton of Calgary and Scott Roberton of Matlock, Manitoba; and Lisa and Cameron Roberton of Winnipeg. Funeral services will be held 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 13 at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer located at the corner of Wellington Crescent and Academy Road, with Pastor James Scholtz officiating. Interment will follow in Thomson in the Park. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Dorin's name can be made to the Mack Roberton Scholarship at Concordia Lutheran Seminary, 7040 Ada Boulevard, Edmonton, AB T5B 4E3.
